Richard Digby Day
Richard Digby Day replaced David William as Artistic Director of the Open Air Theatre in 1966 not long after the New Shakespeare Company was established in 1962. During his tenureship he directed many classical Shakespeare plays in the Park until he was succeeded in 1974 by Mervyn Willis.
