Douglas Hodge
Douglas Hodge is an English actor, director and musician, who first appeared at the theatre in 1982 as an acting ASM in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, directed by Richard Digby Day. In the same season he appeared in The Taming of the Shrew (also directed by Richard Digby Day) and in the straight play version of The Admirable Bashville, directed by David William. He returned to the theatre the following season to reprise the role of Bashville in the theatre’s first ever musical. That same season, Hodge also appeared as Dennis/Silvius in As You Like It, and as Demetrius is A Midsummer Night's Dream which was directed by Christopher Biggins. He also wrote the music and lyrics for Regent's Park Open Air Theatre's production of 101 Dalmatians (2022).
