Romeo and Juliet (1934)

This was first production of Romeo and Juliet at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre and featured Griffith Jones and Margaretta Scott in the titular roles. The production also featured theatre impresario Ben Greet as Friar Lawrence and Greer Garson - a then unknown actress who would go on to become a major motion picture star of the 1940s - in the Ensemble.
