Celebrating 45 years since Tim Rice and Andrew Lloyd Webber’s seminal musical first hit the stage, Jesus Christ Superstar was revived in 2016 by Artistic Director, Timothy Sheader. With outstanding choreography from Drew McOnie, a contempory design by Tom Scutt, and soaring Musical Direction by Tom Deering, the production was deemed an 'almighty revelation' (Daily Telegraph). The production won Best Musical in the Evening Standard Theatre Awards. In 2017, the production won the Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival.
