To Kill a Mockingbird first opened at the theatre in 2013, this "terrific retelling of Harper Lee's classic" (The Times) was directed by Timothy Sheader. Robert Sean Leonard appeared as Atticus Finch, who "deftly captured the character’s wisdom, kindness, dry wit and underlying melancholy "(Daily Telegraph). Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel sees racial injustice envelop a small-town community; Sheader ensured that the storytelling stayed true to the original, showing the courage and compassion of lawyer Atticus Finch . Due the play's outstanding success in 2013, it returned to conclude the 2014 season ahead of a UK tour.
