Reviews
Daily Telegraph
"this theatrical version...is IN A CLASS OF ITS OWN Written in a densely detailed language of athletic movement, subtle observation, visual splendour, fire, noise and tumult, it beautifully traces the book’s inexorable progression from the survivors’ first dream-like awareness of their situation into a demonic nightmare. Guaranteed to grip older children and adults alike from start to finish"
Sunday Times
"Timothy Sheader's production has the accumulating force of horror needed to pull off this story of schoolboy air-disaster survivors on an uninhabited island, who briefly taste a paradise that is soon lost as they descend into savagery”
Daily Mail
"A CINEMATIC SPECTACLE Jon Bausor's eye-catching set confirms him as one of the most arresting designers around"
Sunday Express
"This is a RIVETING stage version of William Golding's still shattering novel...and it unfolds with a dreadful, compelling inevitability."
WhatsOnStage
"A POWERFUL and often disturbing piece which highlights how fragile our structures of civilisation are....A timely reminder that, without laws, rules, or camera crews, the wilderness within is the hardest to navigate"
