For the first time at Regent's Park Open Air Theatre, Roald Dahl's beloved story Fantastic Mr Fox was brought to life. Adapted for the stage and directed by David Wood, the show was suitable for everyone aged 4 and over, with the cast consisting of a substantial amount of child actors who played a variety of woodland animals. Peter Duncan returned to Regent's Park for the first time since 1994 to play Mr Fox.

There's an almost tangible excitement around the theatre grounds prior to the play starting as junior theatre-goers find it difficult - and in some cases impossible - to contain their anticipation....David Wood, the director and adaptor of this piece, has a sensitivity and professionalism that deserves more recognition and praise.
