About Our Heritage

The award-winning Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre is a London landmark – a firm fixture of summer in the city, providing a cultural hub in the beautiful surroundings of a Royal Park.

This digital archive gives access to the theatre’s rich history for the first time. With over 80 years and 300 productions to cover, this archive will be added to as resources become available. Our second collaboration with English National Opera sees Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre present Engelbert Humperdinck’s Hansel and Gretel – a classic tale of children led astray by the temptation of sweets. Discover more children led astray with our latest Heritage focus, featuring The Turn of the Screw (2018), Oliver Twist (2017), Running Wild (2016), Peter Pan (2015), Lord of the Flies (2011) and Into the Woods (2010). Find out more about our current building project here.
